Attorney Douglas E. Bloom founded Bloom Law Group LLC in 2014. He serves a diverse client base, with a practical and efficient approach, including closely held and small to middle-market companies across various industries. Bloom represents industries as diverse as manufacturing, real estate development, retail, investment and professional services. From entity formation through asset or stock disposition, Attorney Bloom offers comprehensive legal counsel often acting as outside general counsel for his clients. His expertise spans business and corporate law, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, employment agreements, and entity formations.
In his dynamic real estate practice, Doug has spearheaded a multitude of intricate transactions, collectively valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. He possesses extensive expertise covering the entire gamut of real estate transactions. It is no surprise that he deftly manages negotiations, acquisitions, construction, disposition, closing, title examination, commercial leasing, financing, sale, leasebacks, and joint ventures. Among his esteemed clientele are developers specializing in diverse sectors such as data centers, retail, self-storage, multi-family residences, office spaces, industrial properties, and shopping centers.
Attorney Bloom has over 20 years of experience in educational law, representing Ohio charter schools and management companies of charter schools. He serves on the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education, demonstrating his commitment to legal education and professional development.
Recognized for his excellence, Mr. Bloom has been named a “Rising Star” by Ohio Super Lawyers. Additionally, he was recognized as one of the top 10 real estate attorneys in Ohio by the American Institute of Legal Counsel and other publications on multiple occasions. He earned his B.A. from The Ohio State University and his J.D. cum laude from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. During his time at Ohio State, he excelled as the Captain of the Men’s Tennis Team, earning First Team All-Big Ten Conference honors during all four years of his competition.
Outside of his legal endeavors, Doug still enjoys a good game of tennis. He now resides in Moreland Hills, Ohio, with his wife Julie and their two children, Jordan and Ace.
